1 week old, slept the whole time, good baby! I would have kept her for the rest of the day.

Good Sports
14 years ago on June 1, this is where I got married…so it was fun to be back there on Saturday…
same room I got ready in…Kelly was ready to get to business and get on her way to Maui…can’t say that I blame her…
there was never a question whether they would do it or not…they were both so happy they saw each other before the wedding and got all the photos and nerves out of the way…
they were both so sweet to each other all day…always thinking about the other and not self…
Yes, I took them to the church next door…for many reasons…I loved the rock and the windows, the light was way better and there wasn’t anybody over there to interfere with their time together…
couldn’t resist…the clouds were so perfect…and they both are Vernon Lions…
there was no other place to take them, the groom is a basketball coach after all…
hot ladies…it was way warm…
if I had only had a basketball!
little view from above…
Father of the groom sharing some words…
and the man who married me marries them!
I loved how careful she was putting the ring on his finger…
Rachel got this one from downstairs and I liked it much better than mine…
yummy cake at first reception…
view from above at first reception…
loved the baloons in the getaway truck…
little pom-pom ring action…
Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Patterson. You guys were such great sports all day! It was so blazin’ hot but you wanted to take fun pictures and you battled through it and so did your entire wedding party and not once did I hear anybody complain. That is amazing!
The heat this year seems different to me, so all my couples in the next two months, be aware it’s brutal. I will never make you go outside. It is your choice, but you must understand your pictures will be different than the pictures you see on the walls of my office if we don’t go outside. That sounds like a disclaimer because it is a disclaimer. Please let me know any questions you have and we will be talking extensively about your personal choices before your weddings.

dirt don’t hurt and neither does icing!
little Miss Ladybug Ella will be 1 this week…
So we went to my favorite place to take pictures right now…nice grass, nice light, simple and kids love it…
she is almost walking…
and almost too curious to ever look directly at the camera…
they are all quite adorable…
time for some birthday themed photos…
she may be small but she is not afraid of anything…except maybe that nasty water back there! Come on City of WF take care of your park a little better, I have seen the budget and you can do better!…sorry, got off subject a little bit…
we are so mean tricking that baby with empty presents!
precious…
more tricks to keep her busy…
and then it was time!
and she didn’t waste any time diggin’ in…
bring lots of wipes if you plan to do this, Lots and lots of wipes! I think she also got to go get dunked in Nan’s pool right after this! Thank you family. It is always so much fun to see you.

their hands may be full but their hearts are overflowing!
Does everybody remember the line in The Incredibles when Wonderboy/Syndrome says Mr. Incredible married Elastigirl and “they got busy!”? I love that show and that line. It’s so funny to me. I thought about it today when I was taking these pictures. The last time I saw these two they had one sweet little baby boy…and now they have one sweet 5-year-old boy, one toddling and very busy middle sister and another sweet one month old baby sister! They have been busy! They are all so very sweet though and it was my pleasure to see them again.
first picture taken…she never woke up…such a good third child…
the face! love the face!
almost made mom cry…love it!
no more pictures please…I am trying to take a little nap….
he was so good!
so we had to get the cookies out to get big sister to come into the picture…sometimes I need a cookie too to be more cooperative. Don’t make me (or her) no bad person!

a room with a view
Every wedding is different. The thing that will stand out to me about this one forever is the view we were able to get during the ceremony. We almost had a full 360 degrees of shooting angles around this couple during their nuptials! It was fabulous! And we didn’t feel like we were being intrusive either. Check it out…
Did you see all those different angles we were able to get to during the ceremony? Awesome. This doesn’t happen often. A lot of churches are pretty strict on photographer movement, but not this one! We loved it. Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The rest of your pictures are loading now and will be released to your shortly.
