Today they came to see me. Next time I am going to see them! The girls and one boy (not a baby one) say they don’t like taking pictures, so we ladies had to explain to them why they need their photos. See you all again soon.

I don’t have many squares to spare
I know it looks crazy, but it works for me, and it is a pretty good visual aid right now. If you want an appt., I have a few openings left, VERY FEW, but a few. Don’t wait to make yours. Turning people down, saying “no” and referring you to another photographer is just around the corner. The leaves have just begun to change. They won’t last long! Check back often for updates and ordering deadlines too!
And before I forget. I could not take this many pictures if it wasn’t for Rachael working hard at the office. She is preggers and just about through her first tri-mester, so hopefully the sweet baby will start to stop making her so sick soon. Thanks Rachael for all you do.

four week old portrait in the park
the weather is just too beautiful to be taking any pictures inside…
this spot was really just working for them….well until the mosquitos came and then their photographer had a coughing fit! So we headed back to where we started got some mosquito spray and a cough drop, and started again…
I know grown-ups who can’t pull this pose off…he’s a natural
peace
and we’re all done…
I am sure everyone thinks I am crazy, but wouldn’t you rather take a nice little walk than torture your baby inside a boring old studio?
Thank you family. I am flattered you came from Fort Worth to see me. I hope you like them. More to come later.

Haylee rocks
How many kids would just go with the photographer when mom forgot the second outfit and had to go home to get it? Who knows how many, but Haylee will and that is just about the best compliment she can give me. Mom nowhere around and Haylee rocked the photo session. Way to go girl. It is always my pleasure. Can’t wait to see you and your brother together this year.

what would your power be?
What would your superpower be? Arden said hers would be to control the weather. I think if I could have a superpower mine would be to help kids who can’t help themselves.
Arden is my good buddy (Garrett’s BFF). She volunteered to be my supergirl today to show you guys what I need. I am putting together a shoot for Patsy’s house next week (Wednesday the 13th) and I need some little superheroes of a different kind (superhero kids not batman or robin). Check out Arden’s outfit. We just kindof threw it together. We thought purple was a good color for her. So, I need some more children to come out next week to take some fun pictures for Patsy’s House. The pictures will be used in some print stuff so you will need to sign a release. Please let me know if you would be willing to bring your little superhero out to help Patsy’s House.

a few FYIs
The morning appts. are starting to be a little chilly (awesome!) so be sure and dress for that. Fall portraits are in full swing. Check the blog or facebook often and check out how fantastically everybody is working the camera and coordinating their clothes! Locations…they are all over the place. I pick the location to fit the subjects the best I can. Please let me know if you have any requests or ideas of your own. I will try anything (within reason) once. If I have multiple sessions in a row, I probably can’t go to locations too far apart, thanks for understanding.
Christmas cards. We can start designing them now. Please don’t wait until the last minute. I don’t plan on working a whole lot in December. Card designs and you print yourself $25 (that price includes one edit, additional editing will be charged extra fees). Or we design the card and order for you $1.75 each card, minimum order of 25 cards. The cards we design are 5×7 photo cards. You are welcome to purchase your images for $35 each to design your own card.
The office will be closed on Monday the 11th.
That’s it for now. Check back often to see what else is going on.

they might be biased for her
I met them at Storkland. There was no way I was putting her in a tire…I would much rather put her in a tree stump! Funny, but true. It was beyond gorgeous today during their appt. I could have walked around all night, but somebody decided she wanted to have some dinner, so I guess these will have to do for now. Thank you family for taking a walk around the park with me tonight.
