new ordering policies
Effective immediately…all session proofs will be posted for viewing and ordering for 30 days. After 30 days ALL PRICES WILL INCREASE by 25%. I am calling it a late order and reposting fee. You can call it a big pain or whatever you like. I cannot continue my protrait business the way it is now. I take pictures all the time…but yet my desk is free of orders basically since I returned from vacation. I have tons of sessions that have expired and no orders made? I honestly don’t understand it, but it has to stop. The hour I spend with you away from my family needs to be profitable for me. Would you be away from your family at work if you weren’t making any money?
Now, for those of you who have an old session you need to order from. You have until the end of September to place your orders, or this will apply to you. Let me know asap if your session proofs need to be reposted on Pictage. Next month starts the busiest time of my year and I would like all the old orders out of the way before that month gets here.
A few other things that this changes. CDs will no longer be on sale if you have not placed an order. Christmas card design feess without orders are increasing. If you are having your pictures taken only for Christmas cards, please let me know when we make the appt. so I can book a mini-session for you and not a full session.
I have always been mostly a wedding photographer and didn’t really understand minimum order fees and these timelines, but now I am getting it. Again, I love my job and I love my customers, but the bottom line is I have to make a profit or it’s not worth all the headaches of owning my own business.
Thank you for your continued support of me and my business.

married for 5 years, and it looks good on them
These two were so sweet. It was my pleasure to watch them and see how much they love each other!
One of my favorite things is when I can see that the hubby is so not excited about having pictures taken but by the end of one hour, the GQ model comes out and is loving the picture session! Guys, I am not boring, and I love making you look good (actually you make me look good once you figure out that we just want to have fun), and you get big time brownie points for taking picture for your lady!

Anderlee Lake (wow! she has a cool name)
Daddy didn’t really want baby girl outside last night, but I insisted, and I am so happy I insisted!
Here are just a FEW of my favorites…
Lucky girl has such a sweet big brother! Good job last night Hudson. I owe you lots of gum.
Check out the coordination of clothing! Perfect. They also brought the cutest Holly Hobby quilt to sit on.
Sharon, you have the best props!!!!!!! we are going to use that sweet little pink suitcase in all her baby pictures. Thank you!
and Happy Anniversary this month too!

on the corner in Olney
Please say “hello” to the Flemings…they just recently moved to Olney…
I guess it has been a few years since I took pictures of these three…they are growing up…
at first I don’t think they were real happy to see me….but then they figured out I am a pretty good time…
I got to Olney early to find some good spots, never photographing anyone there before, but still I knew I could find something…
of course I loved this blue wall….
and a good karate kick always makes me smile…
now, I want you to start paying attention….we tried to leave this spot and go find some other stuff….
….but there was really too much good stuff just on that one city block to go anywhere else…
this one might be my fave…I moved when I took it (not good)…but I love how it turned out…
cuties…
they have been married for 13 years…and I am guessing I have known Malinda for +13 to that…stop doing the math me and Malinda really don’t appreciate it!…
still same corner…
but we did try to leave it, but we came right back and started right where we left off, but it was time for a snack and a change of clothes…
another one of my faves…of course the girls were just getting into it at this point…and the boys were so done with me by then!!!! all they wanted was me to leave them alone with another DP and box of cracker jacks!
Alli loves the Camera, Austin was just so ready to go to DQ and Case can’t figure out why I keep asking him to turn his box around the right way…
and we’re all DUN! I didn’t time it. I was planning for a two hour shoot, lots of locations, We ended up pretty close to an hour and one location…but it was a darn good location with darn good people!
