About Me

  • Welcome to my blog. It's a little bit crazy, but fun, and much easier than maintaining a photography website. I try to blog every shoot/wedding/event we photograph (as long as it is okay with the participants), so check back often to see what we are up to. Most of our shoots are on location and we will travel anywhere to photograph your event. The office is located at 4708 K-Mart Drive, Suite D, Wichita Falls, TX. Office hours are by appt. only or if you just get lucky and we are here! If you have any questions, need pricing information, or just want to send a comment please email me at fotobydeedra@aol.com or call 940-631-4879. T

I met them a few years ago when this little beauty was brand new!  They are another family I get to see often and love it everytime and they are going to have a new addition in 2010!  Congratulations family and thank you for coming back to see me!

  • quiet

Wow.  It's quiet here.  The boys and Kevin just left to go to OK to pick up a Ranger (what the heck is it?  I am not really sure, a golf cart on crack mayble?  who knows, it is for Poppi and Mimi's NEW house in Quanah!).  Anyway, it is so quiet.  I have had two days of rest, got the boys' closets cleaned out and took a van full of stuff to the mission, so it is time to go back to work and get this crazy Christmas season (oh, yah, I even put the tree up last night!!!!  Who am I?  I don't know what is going on with me, but I like it.) finished up.  I know that sounds crazy, yesterday was Thanksgiving, but remember we are leaving in two weeks!  TWO WEEKS TO MICKEY MOUSE!  3 more days of crazy busy shoots and then it is "sit at your computer until your butt and your neck hurt" time.  Everything is posted and ready to view, so if you think you are waiting on me to see your pictures, think again, and check your email!  The deadline for orders is still December 1st (Tuesday don't forget).

  • taking the day off

We're back!!!  Mexico was amazing, but now our heads are spinning (I read yours is as well) trying to get back into the swing of things!!!  We just now have Internet access and are able to look at the pictures.  We totally feel like we're transported back to November 14...every moment is so precious!!!  We didn't want to waste another minute in telling you how grateful we are for all you did to make our wedding day absolutely perfect!!!  Brandon and I have been telling each other over and over, "We may not be perfect people, but we sure started our lives together with the perfect wedding!"  Thank you for being such a huge part of that!!!

Try to relax!  Sounds like you have a busy few weeks ahead of you!  Enjoy the heck outa some turkey!!!

Sending much love and gratitude your way,

Love that this email started my day off right!  Yes, you heard right.  I am taking the day off.  Going to spend some time cleaning the house up, cleaning out some closets before Christmas makes them worse than they are now, making some casseroles, throwing the ball for Abby and refereeing the constant Folmar boy wrestlemania.  Don't worry I am loading pictures from home and they are going much faster!  The 3pm from Saturday is loading now.  Everything will be loaded by tomorrow!  EVERYTHING!  and I will try to post a picture or two for you die-hard blogstalkers to have something to just look at and not read.

I am so THANKFUL for all of you who take the time to look at this blog and on Monday (yes, I said it) I will start showing you how GRATEFUL I am to all of you.  Don't miss a day.  It is going to be a good time.

Take the all of the pictures before the wedding is the greatest advice. It gives the bride and groom alone time to TALK. When you wait for the actual ceremony the bride and groom don't get to talk. I still remember some of the things my husband said to me the first time he saw me. This also allo
