they put a spell on me
No, really, they did put a spell on me, because I have so much to do and surely shouldn’t be spending my afternoon looking at them,…but seriously they are so cute and I can’t help myself!
yes, he played hard to get. I got out the smarties and he decided I wasn’t so bad after all!
Now for a special note to parents. I have been spending a lot of time with the little ones at different pre-schools. I love them all, but sometimes they don’t love me, and I will not force them. Some kids are into pictures, some kids are into pictures not today but maybe tomorrow, some kids just won’t do it no matter what tricks we try (teachers work their tails off on picture day people, tell them thank you the next time you see them!). I find it funny and love to see all their different reactions to me and my camera and I always learn something and I do my best to use that Psychology background I actually paid for to work it out, but sometimes it just isn’t going to work. Again, I will not force them, I will not torture them, because it just isn’t that important for me to make them hate having their picture taken. Believe me, I am a mother of two…one who has loved the camera since birth and the camera loves him back and one who just isn’t photogenic, but he is warming up to it now that he is 6!…I know it is frustrating, but do not force it. It will come, when they are ready. Learn to love their different expressions and not want those perfect smiles. The smiles will come…in time. Sincerely, DeEdra
